This simple sweetcorn curry originates from Kenya and is made, using traditional Gujarati spices. The sweetcorn kernels are sauteed in mustard and cumin seeds and onions, before a satay sauce is added. Fresh tomatoes completes this dish to give you a light, tantalising curry.

Portion size is equivalent to one main or two sides. This is perfect with a chapati. Or simply enjoy a bowl on its own, with a spoonful of thick plain yogurt.

This is a simple flavoursome sweetcorn curry. It originates from the Gujarati population from Kenya in the 1970’s. Firstly, sweetcorn kernels are sauteed in mustard, cumin seeds and onions. Secondly, fresh tomatoes and a satay sauce are added. A tantalising curry to tickle your taste buds.
Its often made with corn on the cob. The sauce is soaked up by the cob, so you can suck on the core with finger licking ease, to soak up the juices.
